Welcome back true believers, its 2011 and here at the US headquarters we’re starting the year off with a bang. The team took centre stage at the very first ‘Kapow Comicon’ which was one of the most enjoyable events of its nature to date. This set the ball rolling for a fantastic year ahead, let’s see what there is to get up too…
Our Banana Klan links have been busy touring Europe from Poland, France and Croatia and DJ-ing at a bunch of little London hot spots, including the very special Gullyver parties (http://www.facebook.com/groups/42784292813/ ) now residing at The Alibi, Dalston, on a monthly rotation.
Kids Love Ink set up camp over our offices in May this year lead by renowned Tattoo and Graffiti artist Charlie Shazer. Having earned quite a reputation across the globe we truly are blessed to have such a talent with us. If any of you have been considering being inked for a good while but have been waiting on the right circumstances, believe you me the time is now.
London Film and Comicon was another event we were lucky enough to take part in, Urbans resident Wonder Wife intends to take us to all the greatest nerd festivals, safe havens where day walkers like us can feel free to unleash the most basic levels of our inner geek
Finally to bring us up to speed US’s DC art prints are currently being exhibited at the Lion, Church Street, Stoke Newington N16. A fun filled chilled out way to check out our products whilst indulging in a little brew. If you missed the opening fear not, our relationship with these big cat folks has only just began to blossom and it’s one we intend to nurture so keep the eyes peeled. We have upcoming exhibitions from 2000 A.D. artist Brett Ewins and the famed IFC Graffiti crew.
